03.Gynecology Procedures
Saline Infusion Sonography (SIS) - This is done to assess uterine cavity for any lesions, such as polyps and or fibroids. It is also used to determine the shape of the uterine cavity, and detect congenital malformations of the uterus which is useful with infertility workup Sono-Hysterography (HSG) - This is done to assess tubal patency, a procedure to aid in the investigation of infertility. A special type of diagnostic foam is used.
